November 8th saw the arrival of David and Wu Han to Pleasantville, New York, for a performance at the beautiful Pleasantville High School. The program featured the Shostakovich Sonata for Cello and Piano in D Minor, op. 40, the Prokofiev Cello Sonata in c minor, op. 119, as well as a new addition to the duo's Russian repertoire, Miaskovsky's Sonata no. 2. The recital was presented by Friends of Music, an all-volunteer organization that has been bringing the finest chamber music to Westchester audiences for 55 years.

Following the concert, David and Wu Han signed CDs for enthusiastic audience members.
